Hi All,
I can't believe how long it's been since I've been around!!! I have been busy moving my oldest back home. Had to give up my sewing room but that is okay. It's only for a couple more years then she will be going to grad school out of state. She has dropped her education part of her music major and is now a vocal performance major. She got a couple of lead roles in the Rimrock opera company's one act performances this summer and is wanting to presue opera performance as a livelihood. When I get some videos of her performances on line I will show them to you all.
My youngest is keeping me busy with her 4H activities. She has 2 hogs wich have to be kept out of town so she has to be driven out there. She also has 3 rabbits, a guinea pig, 2 hermit crabs, is in archery, air rifle, sewing and ceramics. That child should have been raised on a farm!!! I'm going to 4H camp with Jane this June also as I'm a nurse and they can always use camp nurses. I may get to come home on some of the days though.
The ponds and fish are doing well. We had started feeding but it has gotten cold again
. I know before long I will be complaining about the heat!!! We had
someone break into our yard last night and steal some lights and broke my sea captain statue with the working lamp. They smashed him to bits in the
streat
. I was so upset. At least they left the
ponds and rabbits alone. Ed went down to the police and made a report not that there is anything that can be done. He
just wanted them to know what was going on around town.
Well, I just thought I should touch base! I'll try to get on more.
